Shooting children as they are...

...So here's an alternative to the set up child/family shoot. No lights. No fill flash. No posing. What you see is what you shoot. What you shoot is that they get. (I would note that I do know these people, but I just happened to have a camera with me when I was walking the dog and stumbled on them in the park. I tied up the dog, and just watched what was going on. I had been watching for a while before I shot, so I know that what was happening was really happening, and was not being staged for my benefit.)

    I love the one of her talking on the phone - priceless! Whenever I do a family shoot I make sure to get photos of the kids running around and playing - and I always bring bubbles to help that happen :).
