DSS #34 - Inside - Ouch- and upside down

Hi,
Now I'm addicted to looking at your contest threads... such nice photos here! In my lazy way, I'm always hopeful that in my daily shooting I'll stumble upon something that's relevant to your DSS challenge. I thought these were kind of amusing and close to the concept. From this morning.

Inside -this is going to hurt - ouch- and my board is upside down...

No one got hurt, it seems to just be a part of surfing.

    I like your #2 shot most for the theme--clearly upside down. In the first one all I see is sideways and the board is secondary or not even.

    I do like your second shot for this challenge very much, the shot is fun to look at, with the wave as it churns.

    There's swell coming this weekend, maybe some of the kids will pull some legit inverted airs that would be even cooler.

    I was trying to put a fishing boat inside the wave (though, that's more outside in than inside out) but my photoshopping skills aren't good enough. I may have to wait for some other challenge that fits what I happen to be doing that week.

    It sounds like you are still not convinced from your last comment about trying to shoot a better one with the swell. Let me just say that I think it would be a shame if you did not enter #2.

    Seriously? I'll ponder. but I don't think it's that great of a picture. Surfers seem to get upside down a lot. I like the picture that came after #2 a little bit better, not sure the surfer did.
