11. Her godmother-- very close with her
12. They really wanted the river and forest as their background-- I tried to explain that in direct sun the background would be bleached, but I think it looks OK in black and white. I did convince the couple to get their romantic shots after dinner since they wanted the same backdrop

14. The girls were happy without the forest but did like the river, I personally liked the backlit brush

What's your data for #13? I wanted to do something like that for a wedding I shot in August, but couldn't figure out how to do it right.
Thanks for all the encouragement and kind words! I'm glad you like them Are there any that stand out as good portfolio shots to you?
As for #13-- I just shot it at f 4.0 and 1/100 and used fill flash
As for the rings-- wow thanks!!! I wasn't sure about it b/c you can see my reflection.

Thanks, friends
I finished processing the reception. My favorite reception shots are from the last dance-- not for the technical espects at all, but just for the joy. The room was almost empty-- maybe 5 or so people left besides the B, G and myself, and them and they danced their last dance to Black Eyed peas "I gotta feeling" and really let loose.

PS: I just posted the full set and heard from the bride she wrote that she loves them, which really pleases me.
