Arrange Photos . . . not happy

Everytime I upload a wedding, I have trouble with this feature. I name my photos and upload them. Once they're uploaded, I have to spend a lot of time putting them in the correct order. Why can't you just have them be arranged by number or in the order they were uploaded?

Trust me, I have tried by number and it didn't work.

This time, apparently some are missing and are still missing. This means I need to go through each number to determine which numbers were not uploaded.

So far, it has taken me 2 days to upload them and a lot of time to sort them. I finally told my customer that I have no more time to spend on uploading and sorting these. I will just give them their DVD and be done with it. You see, there are 360 pictures and 313 in the gallery.

So, I spend about 8 hours at a wedding, sometimes longer. Then, I spend at least 10-20 hours editing their pictures. I then spend about 1 hour uploading them. However, for this wedding, I have spent a lot of time messing with uploading the pictures. Time is money . . .

Hi Karen,

I'm so sorry to hear that this has been a problem for you but I checked the gallery that you linked in your post an I don't see that it has Auto Sort set to anything in your Customize Gallery settings.

If I understand you correctly, you've uploaded your files into that gallery and they are not in the order that you queued them up, correct? We have a way to do that and that is to change that Auto Sort parameter to be "By date uploaded." That will automatically sort them however you had it in the queue.

Can you give that a try and see if that works? And if I have misunderstand then please let us know, of course.

No it won't work. Since some of the files are missing, I had to reupload them so if I put it on that setting, it will put them at the end instead of have them sort by number. Why can't it sort by number???
