    A simpler, cleaner composition would work better here. The tones look great, but the ugly foreground dead branches just don't make sense to me.

    Azzaro,

    This shot immediately grabbed me. I think it only falls in behind your "Desert Graveyard" shot, for me anyway.

    Lot's of things to like here:

    Beautiful smooth transition from the sun, yellow to orange, to darkness.

    The dead branches visually offset the sun, both in just the right place. The dead branches also give depth to the image.

    The image has a lot of contrast.


    I've enjoyed this one very much thumb.gif



    I rarely say this, but I think this image would look very nice printed and hung.

    Agreeing w/ Randy here.
    I like the form of the branches. They create a sense of reaching.

    Ah yes...that beautiful color (red) you capture! I like the depth and the feeling of being there. It is nice and natural! thumb.gif

    WOW -- This is a photo that makes one stop and think. The branches I feel adds to the scene. It gives it that desolate feeling. I can almost hear the coyotes howlin' thumb.gif
