Nikon D700, D300, D80 and assorted glass, old and new.
I'm going to hazard a guess that it's the juxtaposition of older person in wheelchair, restricted in movement and possibly isolated (as there's no companion), with motion something in the past vs young child in stroller, with somebody to push them around and with an entire lifetime of moblity ahead of them still to come.
Or am I over-reading?
First, that scarf is silk with flowers of some kind or feminine design on it. Secondly, the purse. I think it is a purse by the thinness of the strap and shape. Thirdly, something about the way the hand is holding the purse is bugging me....Lastly, the hat and glasses point in a totaly different direction. As you can see, I am very confused
Now back to the point of this picture. To me, it seems that B.D. is comparing two worlds. The one world with the young baby girl/boy in the stroller, and the old person(sorry) in the wheelchair. I think if the baby was looking at the old person, it would say soooo much more.
So B.D., please help me out here....

Thanks very much. As to the various analysis:
You are all correct. Because whatever you see in the image is...what's in the image you see.
No, I am not pulling legs here; I'm dead serious. I saw what I saw, and now you're seeing what I saw and trying to decide what you see - which is what should happen with any - forgive me, please - work of art. However...Remember my little "no caption challenge?" Well, suppose I had put a title on this...
"Grandma watches her grandchildren" or "Sad old lady" or "Been Down So Long It Looks Like Up To Me" or "Abandoned Old Lady" or "Waiting to Board" or "Chaos" or...."Composition No. 17"
Each of those titles would make you think the photo was about something else, and judge it by the words in the caption. So I'd rather let you decide what it does or doesn't say to you.
AND BY THE WAY ---- ISN'T ANYONE GOING TO ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE/EXERCISE I POSTED YESTERDAY. I see that quite a few of you have read it, but no one has yet said "I'm in."

No assignment. And in an airport. As I said, Mr. Q, it is what ever you want it to be.
