MacDaddy Slow or doesn't want to work

I just joined back onto the Smugmug vibe again, after having been gone for a while based upon my uploads to the smugmug site were always super slow.
I have a different computer, upgraded to all Mac stuff now, (although I don't have the Snow Leopard yet) and I have a fast internet connection. But for some reason, loading photos up to Smugmug galleries no matter how I do it, it will not work. I want to post alot of photos, but even with about 10 photos it doesn't want to upload, it keeps giving me an idle message through MacDaddy.
Am I doing something wrong? How come I can't seem to upload photos?

Sorry to hear that you are experiencing uploading problems. In looking at your upload log (Control Panel>Stats tab>Photos uploaded>View Log). We see what look to be connection problems. Please run a traceroute and reply to Help Desk, with the results. To run a traceroute on a Mac, follow the instructions here:http://www.smugmug.com/gallery/3073291
You can also try using the Simple uploader. You may need to make sure you have a recent version of Java installed. Just click on the Apple Menu and run the "Software Update" to get the latest version of Java.
