Do you live near the White Mountains in NH?

Hi All. I'm going on up to Lincoln NH next Sunday for fall foliage photo taking. Anyone live in that area? How are the tree colors? Nothing, spotty or high color?

I have hit all the online sites that track foliage, but none have updated this week.

Also are there any interesting places I can use the fall colors as a backdrop? Things like decrepit, abandoned structures. Odd houses or parking lots, etc I love the color but trying to get away from the standard 'been there, seen that' type photos of fall we all see.

I'm going up Tuesday and I plan on hitting the Kancgamangus Highway. It's 32 miles of beauty (and busses)(and leaf peepers). But there are enough places to pull off and drop down to the river for some great shots.

    Have fun and good luck.

Thanks lfortier! I will be on the Kanng (or area thereof) on Thursday. I always thought if I go during the week, this cuts down on the amount of other 'Leaf peepers' hogging all the good places. We shall see.

Can anyone think of interesting, 'off the beaten path' type places to take a look?
