Tried something different with my landscapes - shooting midday in the city. Does it work?

    I've always heard that Melbourne is more European than Brisbane or Sydney. You have certainly captured some of the more European architectures in these. I really like this set of shots :D

    #2 has some perspective issues going on, but then again, that type of distortion is very common to this type of photography.

    Because they are shot in the middle of the day, there are spots were the colour isn't quite there. I think it would be very interesting to see these shots in black and white.

    although i've not lived there for 13 years now - but just booked flights to come back for 3 weeks in April 2010 clap.gif

    nice clarity - in case you didn't notice it one of the guys heads is squished in the second pano - in front of the lamp pole

    I really like the first, with the "frame" of darkness around the edges and the bright sun illuminating lots of pretty colors!
