I'm out for a few days, going to Wild Utah to lead a workshop with Marc Muench. Funny - I was going over my last trip to this part of Utah, and found one more shot I hadn't processed

Utah is just as sandy as it always was.

The early light is just as warm.

The stars are just as bright.

and the times are even better..........

And the new Canon 7D was sweeeeeet in the dark

Pat and Roger of Hondoo Outfitters were as happy, helpful, hardy and full of information as the state is full of sandstone.

With all that cowboy coffee, bacon and early light pixels needed to be stored.......

Dan, composing in the field

I am flying over Utah right now on my way back from Acadia, just wishing I were sitting RIGHT THERE!
Although after an average of 4 hours of sleep a night for two weeks, I would probably be sleeping
