Fun With Action Figures

This post was inspired by Jessy and his Baxter thread. Though I'll admit that he'll pull this off better as his character seems to be very generic with no backstory required.

Anywho...I'm a bit of a geek that has collected some action figures here and there. I entered a dio contest a few years back that required combining G.I. Joe (Sigma 6 figures) with the Snakes On A Plane theme. Here's what I came up with...

For those who aren't familiar with the source material, Snake Eyes is non-verbal.

I'm impressed with the creativity shown....and the technical skills are certainly up to the task of telling the story. I think, though, that the limited range of appeal of this type effort was siphoned off by your competition. It will be interesting to see if that's so.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

The work is really nice and surely has appeal. I know I liked it when I
first checked it out. Plus everytime I went back to see the work again.
Pretty sweet creativity... compositions... set ups... total result.
    Fine stuff your doing. thumb.gifD

Thanks for the compliments. If I recall correctly I didn't even place in that contest. Not a biggie. It was only a contest for fun anyway. This was all done with Microsoft Picture It '99 (yup...1999). I wore that prgram right out. Still use it to this day. I had a fun enough time with this little dio that I did a follow up just for the heck of it...
