A Laker in port while workers tend to it early evening among an overcast sky.

As it is, the ship is really impressive, but kinda blends off into the greyish sky.

ARRRRRRGGGGGG!!!!!!!:cry
I like the original...This treatment turns it into...a treatment, not a photograph. Seriously, the fact that the ship and sky are on the verge of becoming one is one of the attractions in the original. Then we have the colorful lines, etc....it's just a nice scene....

Seems I have a knack for providing examples of what not to do....
Points taken, though.

No, you just ran head on into my anti-postprocessing bigotry.

You know, Rutt -and this applies to Andrew - I am in awe of what you guys can do with PS that I can't even dream of. But damn it, I like the original image. The 'neon' docking lines give it a color pop, and the rest of it looks to me the way it should look.
But this is definitely a matter of taste - especially as we are discussing a 'scenic' here and not a documentary or PJ shot....

I have to learn this trick, still new to Ps.
