Swartzy...the Grandpa

Well folks...a brand new addition to our family. Our daughter gave birth to a 9 lb. 9 oz. baby boy! His name is Axel Grahm. We are taking care of Magnus while mommy recovers and dad is staying close to her side with the little one. I'll be doing more studio type shots at their home on Sunday....these are at the hospital the first evening:

Since Magnus is at our house...productivity is out the window...LOL..so instead we just trash the house, run around and play...he's taking a nap right now so I'm able to process a few. Magnus will be 3 in November...what a character!

    So wait a minute... Magnus and your other grandson are not brothers? I always thought they were. I guess I was wrong!

    Love the shot of Grandma and the boys...she looks pleased as punch. Love her expression. I know that feeling, and love it.

    AWWWWWWWWW !!! cute baby, but big brother steals the show, Magnus is seriously one photogenic kid! great captures of him. if his cuteness factor could be bottled and sold......he must be very inspiring for you and your camera.
    wonder if your family is in the same hospital my family is in. my cousin's grandson is still there, born 8 days ago but a very complicated entrance to the world, we are checking the updates 5 x a day, i feel like i am there too.
    i am typing with my grandson on my lap,, excuse the typos!

    Congratulations! And yay for us! Now we get to see more adorable shots of your super cute grandsons! That Magnus is something else. And I remember his newborn shots! Axel is beautiful and handsome. Looking forward to seeing him grow, too.

    Thanks everyone! :D We're having a big time here for sure. It's been raining for the last 3 days straight and haven't been outside to play. We've been up to the hospital the last few evenings. Little Axel got to go home today. We take Magnus home tomorrow. I got some hysterical shots of him while washing his hair in the kitchen sink. What a hoot!

    Hehe..isn't that the truth...I thought some of you might appreciate this one.....have a whole series for the next book....BTW....my house will never be the same.....I think we'll nick name him the "Human Hurricane" :D:D:D

    Thanks Ivar...yea, that was kind of a last minute edit due to the hospital bg elements.....I'll be doing something different for his first year book. Hoping the little guy will be as animated as Magnus growing up. Makes for great subject matter...Laughing.gif

    Congratulations on the birth of your new grandson, Axel! wings.gif I LOVE #1...he looks just like an angel & so peaceful!

    Also, Magnus looks like an absolute treat biggrinbounce2.gif; "The Monster" and "The Thinker" are my favorites but all the shots are fabulous...they really show the breadth of a child's personality. I know with my 3, all of these expressions could present themselves within seconds of each other, so bravo for getting such a wonderful series!

    Thanks for sharing them. I'm looking forward to the studio shots of Axel!
