This is a wonderful shot of Oporto. I have never been there but am familiar with the drink.
It is an excellent capture--great composition and very attractive subject. I really like the star at the bottom. (Schmoo - I believe that qualifies as a Muench star, does it not?)
I looked at your gallery also and can only say "Wow!" There are some lovely images and you clearly have a great eye. I am looking forward to many more posts from you.
Cheers,
Lauren

Hi Rui and I'm glad to hear that you got everything sorted and your photo posted!
Looking mighty good and what a beautiful view! Is this from a high building somewhere? Please do show us more.
Thanks for all the help and also for the kind words.
The picture was taken from the top of a hill facing the town from the other part of the river (it is a different town, called Gaia, where the portwine cellars are located.
Wow! I was ready to pack my bags and move no matter where this was taken! Just a stunning view and beautiful composition. So much to look at and I love the buildings lit up in the foreground. Welcome and I look forward to seeing more of your work!
