Looks like it's time to step outside of my comfort zone yet again. I'm going to be shooting a photobooth at a fundraising event tomorrow in Beverly Hills.

Going to need to pick up some lighting equipment from a friend.

Talk about a pressure situation. Luckily this is not a paid gig, but I want to nail it.

I'm planning on either going w/ a natural backdrop, but white might be more professional. Thinking definitely do one umbrella w/ flash off camera right or left. Maybe a reflector on the other side or another umbrella for fill.... and then maybe one or two more flash with a flag to blow out the backdrop but keep the light away from the subject.

Fallback scenario is I just find a nice natural backdrop and shoot w/ some fill flash. At a previous event that inspired this photobooth, they used a black backdrop and simulated an ad campaign that featured Lawrence Fishbourne.

Am I getting too complicated?? Any tips?... this is so last minute. eek.gif
