Stormy Night

This huge storm cloud was off in the distance coming our way. Not a lot of strikes to be seen but I got a few. It was a beautiful light show anyway. There is a lot of noise in the photos. Probably had the wrong settings. :dunno

    No 1 and 6 are really strong!

    Very nice ladytx! I love good lightning shots and I think these are very nice. Your settings are pretty much what I have tried also.

    I like #1, but would've cropped out the blackness along the top. Pictures get shrunken for posting online so I try to toss out things that don't contribute much to the picture. Judicious cropping would leave a larger cloud and lightning bolt letting us see more the meat of what you captured.

    Very cool shots! A tough subject to capture.
