Love the dragonfly one! For some reason after I read the title I thought I was going to see all insects
I was hoping someone would like the dragonfly since I worked so hard to get that one While I don't usually take insect photos this one was fun. It kept me running around the post to get the photo.
Mary - Love the shot of you and your Rusty! Smart dogs they are, indeed. We had a Golden growing up and I had one w/ my first husband. Both were wonderful dogs--too bad I lost mine in the divorce. :cry Would love to get another Golden one day but my two mutts are pretty darn lovable and quickly became irreplaceable!
I also thought you did a very nice job on the dragon--sorry I didn't comment earlier.
Cheers,
Lauren

Hi Lauren --
I scanned that photo with my old cheap 3 in one HP so its not the best.
Sorry to hear you lost your golden in a divorce -- that must of been hard. I'm sure she/he missed you as much as you missed him/her.
Wish I knew what kind of dragonfly that is -- there were so many of them around this summer.
Hi Mary,
I really like the colors on that first shot--the brown is just so rich and shiny and you captured that nicely with the sun reflected off the horse hair.

Like the rest I also like the dragonfly.

HDR helped with the rich and shinny color on the horse, but it had to be there first to get it looking so nice. I broke the rules on that photo...took it when the sun was high and not a cloud in the sky. After taking horse photos I had horse snot all over my lens

Nice set of images
The shot of Hannah brings back fond memories of my buddy Rusty. (Golden)
I can remember laying on the floor taking a nap with him many a time...
I'm glad you liked them Randy...something alittle different.
As for Rusty -- I had a Rusty too
