This is a couple of potential entries to ongoing charity exhibition/action devoted to the victims of Station Fire.
There are just SOOC JPEGs, no processing yet. Canon EOS 7D + 10-22, ambient light. Still thinking of the final PP.

#1: Red Version

I like the red version- the pose as well as the red fabric. As far as pp, this looks a little too sunny as is.

I thought I mentioned that - there was no PP yet. I'm just thinking about it... headscratch.gif

THe red fabric, reddish trees and red hair against the ashes is a great shot IMO. There is something surreal about it.

I really like the second one ,turning it so her feet are at the bottom of the
picture and looking away from the camera maybe?
The gray is definetly better than the red.

"Surreal" was definitely one of the thing I was going for! thumb.gif

Yeah, I agree, looking away from the camera would be better. However, I was in such a precarious position (hanging out from a barely-holding semi burnt brach:-) that I missed that detail. ne_nau.gif
Luckily, I should have more chances coming Wednesday, so I hope to fix that... mwink.gif

Of the two - I definately like the red version much better. The grey version, she looks almost dead, like a victim of the fire. And the shadow along her stomach makes it look like she's pregnant.

    Thanks, Colleen! thumb.gif
Actually, my intentions are to make her look much more "dead" specifically for that reason... Stay tuned! :-)

Yeah, I got that. I was just giving input to consider when you do go to process.
