Bottom line: This is the K20D with faster operation, video (of course) in a smaller and lighter package. (It's even smaller than the Olympus E-30, for example.)

It keeps the in-camera (chip-based) IS and adds an "auto-leveling horizon" feature.

Altogether a very nicely rounded camera. WTG Pentax. :thumb :clap

    Go Pentax! cheerleader.gif

Even more interesting to me is this interview with the head of the design team. Pentax is well known for its ergonomic designs and it's interesting (to me at least) to see some of the thought processes built around the design.

I'm trying very hard to hold on to my K200D a while longer. Prices need to come down a wee bit before I get involved, but I'm very glad to have the K7 available.
