I usually don't post very much but I did get to the Mirimar Air Show yesterday.
Here are a few of my favorites. They are not the best. The weather was hazy and my equipment isn't the best but I think I got a few keepers in the bunch.
The Canadian Forces Snow Birds. During the show the #1 jet had to make an abrupt landing, turned around and went to the hanger. After a good 10 minute delay a new jet appeared taking off and the show resumed.
An F-16 static display with a C-5 Galaxy in the background.
F-18 Super Hornet and a ground attack demonstration.
An F-16 demonstration.
An F-16 and P-51 from the Air Force Heritage Flight.
I was close to the Snow Birds while they took their group picture.
The AV-8B Harrier. I saw a Harrier fly when I was about 10 but I forgot how loud they are. This isn't the best picture but I liked the contrast of the American flag, the son and dad with the Harrier in the background. Someday I'll go back and Photoshop out the light.
The Blue Angels!
For those who would like to see more, I have a favorite gallery with a few more pictures and a huge gallery with about 940 pictures.

"The point in life isn't to arrive at our final destination well preserved and in pristine condition, but rather to slide in sideways yelling.....Holy cow, what a ride."
I like the last shot of the F-18 with the condensation forming around the canopy.
Time to clean the lens or sensor too.
Thanks for sharing.
The Blue Angels are awesome. I really like that photo of the father/son and the flags

I still have to process my pictures since I only returned from my trip to the US last week.
#1 jet of the Canadian Snowbirds had to land because of a birdstrike.
