Recovering from surgery

Well not much of one usually, but since my wisdom teeth were so impacted along with my other medical issues this is on the far worse end. Basically I haven't been able to do anything for 4 days, but I just couldn't deal with this cabin fever so it was time to take the Fuji around the yard and see what I could find. It might not have been the smartest thing to do since my body as a whole is beat and I can feel it now but having been productive is always a great psychological feeling:
I am not sure on which composition I like better here:

Nice photos from around the yard. I really like the 3rd one. I don't know if the leaf is falling or actually has landed on the green leaves. Makes me look...
As for the composition of the last two First thought the 1st one was better because the equal lines on each side of the last photo was throwing me off some, but then I changed my mind. If I look at the focal point of the light fixture -- the lines on it works well with all the lines of the wood. So....I pick the 2nd one
Did I confuse ya

Sounds like your mind jumped around like mine between them I think giving it some time and looking back is my best option for those 2.
And another day and possibly another surgery oh the fun (sinus complications) but for now I am jumping back into work. I did some which I am posting below just now, and debating going out to have some more fun with the leaves and my 50mm macro on the Olympus, always a good time.
Whatever those are photos of -- its neat

Both from my trip to VA
And then this one from a local pond:

But today I felt like just going around the house with my old 50mm on the Nikon and seeing how I do with it since I haven't shot with just a 50 for a long time.
I enjoyed looking at your photos -- you have some pretty good ones in your set posted. Hope your feeling better

The big thing now is Tuesday when I find out if I need another operation (they messed up a bit) and another recovery but as long as I am being productive it isn't too bad.
Not sure on color or B&W for this one:
A bug -- butterfly?
You turned the one after the butterfly didn't you? Is it a board with leaves sitting in the water?
Your last photo And the one with all the things hanging up...I like how you took that one.
Yep -- successful you were

And some more from that day:
(I am doing B&W versions for myself but they liked the color so the first round was for them)
And today it was the first real amount of snow so from my window:
On the recovery front I will need 2 more operations thanks the the sinus complication, so another month or 2 of being out of it. So this thread might get pretty big.
