Cape Cod Evenings

Took a walk to the beach for the sunset. Too bad the bugs were so hungry! We didn't stay long, but I got these 2 as I was getting eaten.

This is an osprey sitting on its' nest in the marsh (man, I could have used something longer than the 75mm I had)...

...and these are the brave folks who were willing to endure the bites. Looks peaceful, anyway!

Thanks for looking!

Nice! Really like the second. thumb.gif

I know what you mean about the bugs. I was thwarted this weekend by an overwhelming swarm of the stuipd mosquitos (what I was wanting to shoot was also near a marsh). I ran for my life (could already feel my strength being drained) before I got setup for the first shot. umph.gif

I went back another day with newly purchased bug spray in hand and found better light to boot. They still drilled me but not as bad. :heh

Thanks guys. That was in Yarmouth Port, kind of the bicep of the arm of the Cape. You don't see pinks in the sky much in New England!
