Mill, Babcock State Park, WV - on the way to DG Shootout '09

I stopped by one of my favorite places in West Virginia on the way to DGrin Shootout '09 in Acadia National Park, Maine.

I plan on stopping here on the way back and the colors should be just about right.

    Very nice, while the colors might not be at their "peak" personaly I like having some green left to accent the yellow. Beautiful shot!thumb.gif

    My only comment is that I wish I would have taken that photo! It's perfect. If you can get even more colors on your way back go for it, but I like this one quite a lot. Great composition and subject matter, and the light was just right for this type of shot.

    Wow Dixie!! That is just beautiful. I love the composition and can't imagine anything to improve upon. Hope you do get to stop again, it would be nice to see how drastically the colors can change in a week or two.

    Thank you for the kind comments. I bypassed the mill today. It was pouring rain in this area and forecasted for the same tomorrow.
