Taken with my Blackberry seeing as my P&S battery had died (sod's law).
This is my first post here after lurking for quite a while. So I thought I'd give it a shot. Some others I'll post at a later date are taken with a rather aging P&S that's served its purpose. I plan on delving into the world of DSLRS for Christmas.
Comments and Criticism always appreciated.
Cheers.

I think this is a great shot especially with a Blackberry. So sorry to hear that you had battery fail but eh, you do what you can and you could have done a ton worse.
The next time you're in Yosemite I'm sure you'll plan to have extra batteries, right?
(Hope Santa is kind to you this year, because photogs always need more toys...)

Nice shot, especially given the equipment you had. :-)
There's more to the shot that it appears though…and a bit of time in post-processing will bring it out.
For example, the water looks almost solid white. If you lower the exposure (or adjust this highlights), you can see there's a fair amount of texture lurking unseen.
Lowering the exposure helps with the overall picture (appears to be taken mid-day when light is harsh). I've attached a tiny version of your picture with those things tweaked to show you what I mean. Try it on the full size picture and you might be surprised what pops out (the tiny version might be too small to see the detail in the water so you might have to try it first hand to see what I'm saying).
Which waterfall in Yosemite was this one?
I agree, great shot for a blackberry. I do think with a little PP you can really make it shine. great job.

Thank you for the comments guys.
Thwack- I'm not too sure, may dig out the mass of brochures we amassed whilst there and find out which one it was. I really should have geo-tagged this on the mac. We plan on going back at some point so i'll be make sure to take note. Thanks for the PP tip- only really starting to delve into it and get to grips with it. Looking back at the picture now, the lighting does seem harsh.
