No chance at a reshoot and I might go a completely different direction, but thoughts?

I love repeating patterns and this is definitely blue. I'm not quite sure about the angle. headscratch.gif

Do you have any others from a different position?

Cool architecture. Sort of looks like chicken's feet holding the roof up though :D . It is blue. I haven't internalized what says blue in particular, but this isn't screaming blue at me.

Ironically, while I'm typing this, the little random images at the top banner includes one of a field of blue flowers a blue sky and a mountain in the distance; some sort of fountain spray against a cloudless sky; and a train headed up the coast with the blue ocean to the left (though it is at sunset.... ).

Edit: I'm warming up to the blue aspect and interpretation on theme.....

Man you guys are fast! The "Blue Chicken Feet" was a 20 second exposure of a new bit of completed architecture on Orchard Road I'd noticed a couple of nights ago walking around. I have a couple of other variations, but no significant differences in angle or comp. Here's another of the same building. I don't like the way it's come over to Smuggie, but I could work on that.

Now this shot says "blue" to me--I think it's an excellent try for the challenge---more so than your first one--for me.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'll put some PP time into #2. I've got some ideas, but what would you suggest to improve the impact?

I like it! You've dropped out some of the detail on the building and it has more pop. thumb.gif

And here I thought your black and white photography style would put you at a disadvantage ...

I'm in the minority it seems, but I really like the first one. The second is more obviously "blue," but otherwise doesn't do as much for me.

Ok, from clean and architectural back to ragged street stuff. How does this compare for the challenge?
