Thanks Azzaro!
You guys are feelin' punny yourselves today
Thanks for the kind words Lee
You used the shadow of a different meter for the second photo didn't you?

Mary,
No, it's the same meter's shadow, just shot at slightly different angle.
I looked closer at the first photo and now I can see the cement is messed up in the shadows

Cool shot. It looks like Paul Newman has tried to do his thing on the meter. Too bad you didn't get him in the picture.
Ride safe,
Tom
Nice shots, Randy--something simple and routine turned into art at your hand. Well done!

Ok Tom,
I'll show a little ignorance here.
What is the referenced "thing" about Paul Newman? Inquiring minds want to know
Thanks for the kind words Lauren.
Looks like a violin to me too!
In the opening scenes from one of his most famous, and critically acclaimed, films...."Cool Hand Luke " ....Newman does battle with some parking meters. It gets him sent to the pokey and the movie is off and running from there. A fabulous flick....one of my all-time favorites.
Sorry, I guess this exposes my age too much.
Ride safe,
Tom
As soon as I read that, I remembered that scene from that great movie.
Guess "Old Age" is having fun with me today
