This is actually a 6th cousin or something of mine and yes I am doing the dreaded wedding for family mistake. I was a little worried about it until I met this couple at their e-session! They will do anything for the shot and they told me that too!!! ha ha ha I have their wedding this saturday and am really looking forward to it! C and C a must:D

oh and if anyone has any shots of very small bridal parties could you share? There is only a maid of honor and best man. I'm a little stumped on what to do? lol

    Man I need reading glasses. I originally read "e-session" as "c-section" and thought.....man, that's something I don't need to see. Laughing.gif

I like 1, 2, and 7 in particular. 1 screwed with my head at first, mistaking whose feet and legs belonged to who.

ha ha ha.... if I ever post a c-section I hope I get kicked out of the wedding forum! 1 is my fav... I love that bridge. This is the second time I have used it. It really adds so much to the photos. The day was really really dark and about to rain, but over all I pretty happy with them. Both the mothers cried when I delivered the pics. When I went to deliver them they didn't tell me that half their family would be there, but it was nice to see the whole families reactions.

Oh and though I have done a bunch of weddings and portraits before this was my first real e-session so I really hope I did it justice. Looking back I think I have too many of them kissing... ha ha ha!

I also have one coming up at the end of the month. The family is celebrating a 15 year wedding anniversary. The couple has 6 children and they didn't have a photographer at their wedding. They are breaking out the tux and wedding dress that they were married in.

I keep thinking I need to do one of them with just the two of them and then add the kids in for a second photo in the same position with the kids running around them. Possibly doing a little motion blur with the kids? It will sure be an interesting day!

sorry... i meant formals for this wedding on saturday. They only have a maid of honor and best man. I'm having problems on how to get creative with the groups. Other than a couple angle shots im not quite sure.... I'm hoping because they are such a great couple that they will make the fun happen but I never count on it? Anyone have any experience doing small wedding group formals?

    Hey Nicki!

These are pretty cool. I like the pose in #1 quite a bit. Matter of fact I will be stealing that one for sure!!! Don't care for the processing on that one but the pose is pretty unique and I like it a lot. Good job.

    thanks matt

They had actually asked for that processing (did I mention they really knew what they wanted? ha ha ha) It grew on me... I just used it again! I normally don't pose that much. I just said lets sit on the bridge and next thing I know they just fell into the very natural pose and I shot away from a ton of angles. This just seemed to be the best.

There was an awesome photo that someone recently posted with the B&G in the foreground and the other couples (I think there were 2) in the background relaxed/chatting/flirting around some pillars. They were beautiful and worked awesome for a smaller wedding party - the concept might work for you. I'll try to find the thread, but someone else may know exactly where it is.

These are awesome!! In #3 though, her teeth don't look natural, but otherwise, I love these. How did you keep the flare/glare off of his glasses? thumb.gif

I am sure they will be very pleased with these and I bet you will do great with the wedding. A small wedding will give you more time to do creative shots with the bride and groom, so that should be a blessing.

Funny story: I have a friend named Ben and he just got engaged to his long time girlfriend, Paige, so I was halfway expecting to see their pics on the post... That being said I really enjoyed the pics! You got some great ones in there. Keep up the good work!

Ha Ha Ha... that is pretty funny...

My best friends son is named konnor and my daughter is madison. The other day at my day job a lady came in with a little boy and girl that could have passed easily for both my daughter and my friends son. I couldn't believe how much they looked like mine! I struck up a conversation with her and believe it or not their names were konnor and madison. Madison was her daughter and konnor her best friends son.... Talk about weird!!!!! lol

Thanks for all the complements.... I really love these pics so glad to see its not just me being happy with mediocrity lol...

Im always afraid that I am losing my creativity so its always nice to hear other photographers say im not!!!
