your thoughts and input is greatly appreciated. I just thought i'd give this a try, i've never entered any photo challenge before. Had to shrink it down a lot to post it here so quality suffered a bit.

    Welcome to Dgrin Matt! I surfed some of your smugmug site and really-really admire your photography.

    This is a wonderful shot. I love the processing and it would definitely fit the theme...however, DSS challenge entries are required to be shot during the respective 2-week contest period (in this case on or after Oct 5th).

    Judging by the beautiful work you have on display at your website, it won't be any problem for you to come up with a fresh & equally wonderful image to fit the current theme. I look forward to seeing it!

    p.s. To PaulThomasMcKee: Hope to see you participate in the dgrin challenges again. I have seen some of your entries in the past challenges (before I joined dgrin) and they are all simply outstanding. We need people like you in these challenges.
