I'm unfamilier with Andrew's Bald. Where's it at?
That is beautiful, can you get any more definition in the trees in the foreground. It is very similar to a shot in a CS2 tutorial
Cheers

Andrews Bald is on Forney Ridge Trail. The trail begins at the Clingman's Dome Parking Area, right behind the drinking fountain. Head downhill for 2 miles and you're there. Of course the hike back to the car is 2 miles uphill and at elevations above 6000 feet.
If you hurry the Flame Azaleas and Catawba Rhododendrons should still be in bloom for another week, here's a preview of what you can see...

Why?
Pollution?
The first shot once again gives a feeling of being there, dank and teaming with life. And I really like the warm tones and comp on the second. Very nice!

Both pics are so different and I still can't pick a favorite. Do you have any other pictures from Andrew's Bald, GSMNP? I'm planning a trip there and I'm looking for some ideas.
