Soft lens pouches - recommendations?

So I've got some new mid-size lenses and I need to store them in something other than their ugly boxes they came in.
What are you all using? I've looked online, and seen pretty much all about the same soft zippered or velcro'd designs, but prices from $17US to about $50. Gotta be about a dozen companies making these.
There isn't much real info available to read, other than dimensions and extremely brief descriptions. So... what is it that's different about them? What do I get when I spend more money, if anything? :scratch
Experiences with these - or what should I be avoiding? I expect to eventually carry some lenses in a backpack as well.
