My Posting Experiment

Recently I have noticed that many areas just don't get the replies like they used to. I feel like it has slowed in many sections. Although there are often still very many views the replies often number around 5.

I often notice it in myself where I surf through the site and only reply to a very select few posts. Even though I find many of them either very good, or could benefit from some constructive critisizm. Yet still I cruise right on through. I also know that its not the amount of replies that matter, its the helpful information on how to make a shot better, what is liked about the shot, or if we need to rethink our shooting habits.

Well I think I am going to start being more productive, or at least make the attempt. One day per month I will cruise the board and reply to every thread I look at. This is not in an effort to gain a post count, or splash my name across the board. This is in an effort to make myself more helpful to others. I won't be looking at hundreds of posts that day so I won't be flooding the board (hopefully). I will also continue posting as I normally do as well throughout the month.

Rules for myself.

1. Must be more then one sentence.
2. Must include some useful information.

So I think to kick off my little experiment I am going to start today. Anyone else want to join me?

Well, I'm brand new here, and still feeling my way, but will make every effort to post something useful whenever I can.

I too have noticed that the number of views have increased, but the relative replies are declining. Views can we guest members, so they cannot comment. I find that as comments on my images have lapsed, I dont post as many myself.

    Interesting observation/

It is the purpose of life that each of us strives to become actually what he is potentially. We should be obsessed with stretching towards that goal through the world we inhabit.
