definately would need some tweaking as I was just testing out the idea, but what do you think? Is it a lame idea or does it work?

Number 2 pops out nicely to me. Specially with the water drops on the outside of the glass. I like it!clap.gif

thanks for the feedback! So ok, number 2... I think i can run with it. What should I do to improve on it? I'm thinking it needs some sort of crop from the bottom?

oh gosh, now i need to think of a title...here comes the hard part!

#2 (though I like the additional detail and shape of #1 as well).
Did you by chance catch any while the dye dropped in? Might have a very cool effect. Also, since you have time, a white rose (or other white flower) will suck up the dye and turn blue. Might also work in a cool way...

I'm going against the grain and saying #1. It's clear, crisp and almost perfectly clean. The smudge on the glass to the upper-left of the pic is a little distracting. I like it a lot clap.gif .

    This one:

    674654290_96fAX-L.jpg

    Suggestion:
    1. I don't like the condescation on the outside of the glass
    2. I also don't think the blue die is needed. If you keep it maybe try swirling it more or mixing it all the way to make the water uniformly blue.
    3. Something about the negative space at the top bothers me. Maybe try to crop it a bit tighter.
    4. The stripes on the table, could you take the shot so they are and an angle, to create some leading lines? Not sure how that would look... just thinking out loud here.

Love the idea. Great set. Can't wait to see what you settle on.

I'd like to see a touch more of the stem in #1. Or use a bowl instead, so it is not obviously missing the stem. I like the swirls in #1.

    Overall, I like #2 best.

I would go with #1, but I'd clone out the stem so that the glass seems to float in the frame. I'd also name it something like "Turbulent".

I too like #1 and 2 - I think the idea of cloning out the stem in 1 and leading lines with the stripes in 2 are both really good suggestions. Out of the two, number 2 says blue more than 1.
