Hello Everyone,
First let me say thanks to David for allowing me to post this request here.
My wife and I have been wanting to find a way to give something back to those less fortunate than we are for some time. We recently came up with the idea of creating a high quality calendar showcasing some of my most popular photos and donating a portion of the proceeds to those organizations close to our hearts. To be clear, we are not in this to make money. The cost of the calendar is $15 of which $13 goes to the printing and a minimum of $1.50 per calendar goes to the donation. If we get enough orders to qualify for bulk discount, the $13 cost per calendar will go down and any delta will go to the donation amount and not to us.
The organizations that we have chosen, as shown below, deal directly with areas that have affected me and my family and many of those we know. You don't have to wait for the month in which your charity choice is listed. If you order now and just put on your order that you would like your donation to go to a charity covered in a different month, we would be happy to make sure that your donation is applied as you requested.
My wife and I spent a lot of time selecting a photo that represented each month and I think we came up with a great 2010 Calendar which you will enjoy and you'll know that your purchase has gone to help some very worthy causes.
Calendars are $15 /ea and your support is greatly appreciated.
- October donation to be made to the American Cancer Society to fight for a cure for cancer.
- November donation to be made to New England Center for Homeless Veterans and Jane Doe Inc. We would like to extend this to other cities depending on the response.
- December donation to be made to the US Marine Corp Toy’s for Tots program.
Thanks for your support and please let me know if you have any questions.
