Canon Rebel not working

Hey guys I have a friend who shoots canon and had their camera in the house, they keep it very cold and she took it outside to shoot and it fogged up and quit working. anyone have any idea what happened.

condensation occurs somewher einside and caused short? It might work again if dried out if it wasn't a power short that fried something.
