Here are a couple that "Don't exactly suck" (you had to be there).

    2. 30 second exposure using the B+W 10-stop ND filter.

    Love this one Scott!

A quick reply to bring this thread back up to the top! I hope to post more information and comments too. :)

I think this is probably my favorite from the shootout. It's FredW at Sunrise at Gorham Trail on Sunday morning.

Great light on this one Cliff. I'm flatterred I could give you some ideas. You did find the spot, by the way. The shot I took was in the trees on the right of this picture.

I'll add one to keep it going.

This was at sunset on a rocky beach on Route 3 just East of Northeast Harbor.

Wow! All I can say is that I am truly humbled to have been able to take part in this with such a talented group of photographers. Liz and I had a great time seeing some familiar faces again and getting to know some knew ones.

Amazing shots from everyone so far thumb.gif

Another to keep the thread on the front page.

Kind of going through these piecemeal - such is life when not spending full days eating, breathing and drinking photography on the Maine coast with a great group of folks.....thumb.gif

What were you using for a filter on this?

    Hi Ron,

This is probably the circular polarizer and maybe a Grad ND filter for the sky. I noticed that the polarizer was bringing out a lot of different colors in the sky depending on what angle I had.

Here's one more I was working on last night. Not sure if it's done yet or not.

Beautiful shot Dave.clap.gif Look at the comment Marc Muench made on my "Glorious Arcadia" thread regarding the Cadillac Mtn. shot and see if it applies to your shot. Obviously I think it does.thumb.gif

SteveF - I like the light and the smooth water in your coast shot--very nice.

Dave - I like what you've done so far. Will be looking for the next version with the gradient.

Great stuff, all! I'm working on some of mine and will post a few shortly.
