no, not the house by Frank Lloyd Wright, but a similar theme... ;) i found this spot along Gale Creek, a little ways up a forest service road near Kachess Lake in the Washington Cascades... 40D, Tammy 24-135 @ 77mm, 1.3 sec @ f/7.1 with fill flash...

Did you add any light to this?

I like this very much. It's different and the light is a big part of that.

    Nicely done.

Fantastic!!! I never saw the pop-up flash perform so well and this is a stellar example of what it can do. Great job and I love it thumb.gif

thanks, Schmoo... i think it was a combination of the right distance and the ambient light, but whatever it was, i'm pleased with the result! :)

A winner! Definitively! I never thought that the fill flash use could add so much to this kind of shooting!
    Well done.

thanks, Rui and Dan... i agree, i didn't think the pop-up flash would help much, but i figured i'd at least try it, and the result was better than i'd hoped for! :D
