I've recently Subscribed to Smugmug and that's where I now want to keep all my pictures. One thing I've been doing with Twitter it taking a photo via the iPhone app Tweetie & sending it out as a tweet with the image hosted at Twitpic; version 2 of Tweetie allows custom image hosting services but asks for the 'Image Service API Endpoint' - the application help gives the following information:
Tweetie 2.x allows you to specify a custom endpoint for image hosting. The endpoint should mimic the TwitPic '/upload' API.
Example
https://something.com/twitpic_compatible_endpoint.php

More details here.

Can anybody tell em what I should be entering? the 'heroes' sent me here, all help gratefully received.

Thanks.

At the moment, there is no way to do this, as the TwitPic API has no concept of an AlbumID which we currently require.

I've been hashing out some ideas on the best most flexible way to achieve this.

Thanks for that, but I'm not sure what the Twitpicc API has to do with it since I want to move from there. Are you saying that the Twitter app assumes it's sending to something that behaves in the same way as the Twitpic API, which Smugmug doesn't?

Sorry if I'm being dense, this whole API thing is a bit new to me. I've got a couple of workarounds but nothing as elegant or (single-step) as I'd like.

Thanks again, any progress on this would be appreciated.

    Cheers.

Hi, someone called 'ashponders' at Tweetie support suggests you email contact@atebits.com - would you mind?

    Cheers.
