Took a hike up to Jawbone Flats and Opal Creek today - not as impressed as I thought I would be :dunno Sky was flat and grayish but with a bright edge to it making exposure a challenge, half the decent water shots I took had sun flare (when the sun decided to come out while I was shooting that one area! :huh). Well, it was a nice 9 mile hike, but I can't say any of these are going to make it to the 'folio, I will share anyway.

Thanks for looking, C&C if you like, I only really liked shot 4 even though the view of 6 is truly breathtaking in person, I just couldn't get it to show through via the camera, sorry.

Hi Lee and this looks like a place that does have a lot of potential either way. :D Waterfalls can be really tough to shoot right especially because they can be so bright. Overcast generally works best, although then the rest of your scene gets overexposed as I'm sure you discovered.

I really like the rusted-out car. Maybe a few more visits to this place can provide some better conditions? Thanks for sharing!
