I think in the first one the guy behind the couple spotted you, and in the end the man himself spotted you, no?

Number 5 and 6 are my favorites!

When do you change to BW, before you take the shot, or in PP? IF you do it in PP, what program do you use?
If you work at something hard enough, you WILL achieve your goal. "Me"

It's hard to say if he specifically spotted me or not. We were across the street with traffic passing between us. There might have been some amount of random eye contact.

As far as B&W is concerned. I shoot RAW, but keep the preview filter on the camera set to B&W. So when I chimp, I'm seeing a contrast boosted B&W image. The histograms still include RGB so no info lost. All conversions are done in Aperture in post. I'd rather spend the $1'500 or so needed for PS on a good lens or something else useful. rolleyes1.gif
