    Good one- a greenbottle fly.
    Good angle for identifying a bug but normally lower shooting angles will look more interesting

    Thanks Brian. Yeah I wanted to get more captures but this thing was there for a split second so I didn't even have a chance to recompose...and given I was basically already hugging the same bush that was filled to the brim with bees, wasps and other stingers...it probably was a good thing! :)

    Thanks cadred...yes it was just an instant when it appeared in front of me, landed and took off again. I was glad to get 1 useable shot out of 2 taken for sure.
