HI,

I've been working on a new idea with wine glasses and my light box.

Please tell me which you like better and how I can improve them. I wasn't sure of what kind of PP to do, so I stayed with just a little sharpening. Suggestions are very welcome.

Thanks a bunch,
Chris

I'm w/ Sean on this one. The reflections in the top glass are fantastic, and the crisp blue/white contrast of the bases is fantastic.

Are there any tie-breakers out there?
Thanks to all for your comments.

So, images #1 and #4 are tied at 2 replies each! Anyone out there care to help break the tie?

BTW- I uploaded an image into the challenge for practice, since I have never done this before. Would someone mind taking a look and telling me if I jumped through all of the right hoops?

I think #4 has more visual interest. And you uploaded just fine! Welcome!

Odd man out here - I really like 3 :D

Between 1/4, however, put me down for 4 - I like the reflections.

    Great set of shots!

These are all fantastic, great jobclap.gif
I agree #1 and #4 are the strongest. My personal favorite is #1.
The reason being (for me) is that while I too think the reflections in #4
are really nice, they kinda take the starring role away from the blue (but that's probably just me)
#1 has such a crisp, symmetric feel to it and the blue pops out more I think. I honestly don't think
you can go wrong with either one, so go with your gut, which one do you like best?

    #4 for me too.

Simple, clean, beautiful shot with enough interest to keep me looking.

    #1 a close second.

    All are technically excellent.

    thanks for the feedback
I, too, love the reflections in #4. And I love the symmetry in #1. I did end up changing my entry in the gallery.

Being new, you'll have to forgive me for uploading the wrong image when I made the change from 1 to 4. So now 3 images show in the challenge gallery. I've asked to have the first two removed.

Bear with me. I'm sure you can all remember when you were doing dumb newbie things like this!

Thanks for your feedback... it is immeasurable.
