Great shootout this year, lots of pics to process, I'm so far behind :uhoh

This is Pemaquid Point Lighthouse, a couple hours south of Acadia, on the way up to the shootout:

    Andy,

Nice set of shots. I really like the light on the third. And the reflection of the lighthouse in the second is really nice.

Great to meet you at the Shootout. The whole even was a great experience for me.

Great series, Andy--I love #2! It's different than most shots of this spot with the reflection--well done!

I had a blast at the Shootout--lots of fun and I learned so much from you and Dave and Marc. I feel blessed to have been there with such photography powerhouses. The critiques were so helpful, as were the shooting ops with the pros. The facilities were good and convenient. The SMUG meeting was very insightful too. I'm looking forward to next year already!

    Thanks,
    Lauren

    Andy-
Love #2 with the reflection of the light in the puddle. Were those rocks cool looking or what?? I stopped there at Pemaquid on my drive home on Sunday. What normally takes me a 6 hour drive took me a 9 1/2 hr drive. I also stopped in Bucksport at Fort Knox/Penobscot Narrows and in Camden. Haven't had a chance yet to go thru my photos yet from the Shootout - motherly responsibilities have now taken over again. I had an awesome time, learned a ton, and can't wait until next year!!

I wonder how many people would have even seen the second composition.

nice stuff, Andy... i was there many years ago, got some shots with my old Pentax ME Super, but they're buried in a shoebox somewhere, and probably faded beyond usefulness... i'd love to get back there one day!

    Excellent work Andy.

I assume #1 was zoomed out and #2 was in with the same lense.
