Thanks Ginger. No...these are not in my backyard. :uhoh They are up the road a bit at a tourist trap known as "Sarasota Jungle Gardens". Neat place....but I hate the fact all the flamingos are tagged. They do like to pose for you. If you notice......the first photo is taken from directly above the flamingo. That bird let me get right over top of him with my camera (Canon G2). He didn't even flinch. I practically bumbed into him/her. My return visit was a nightmare. There was a school field trip and about 200 8yr olds were running wild in the place. It was very difficult shooting. No photog etiquette from 8 year olds (or most non photographers for that matter).
Shots 4-6 are outstanding. Excellent use of the reflectiosn and lighting.
