I think I'm going to go back and take more photos at this fair. I think for a lot of the people born and raised in the US this is kind of a mundane event but to me it's a space where I see a lot of things that look organic and DIY, and this is not how I usually think of the US. I think of the US looking more mass produced and corporate.

Any feedback is welcome!

State and County Fairs are never mundane. The USofA is a lot of things.

Wonderful series; really nice. I particularly love the Cotton Candy stand, though I'd crop it a bit - like this:

"The more ambiguous the photograph is, the better it is..." Leonard Freed

I like the candy stand because of how he is leaning and waitinig on a customer to come by. That is a true sigh of lonleness, a rainy day at the fair!
    Have a great day!

I agree that the US is a very diverse place! I have spent most of my time in the US going to school and working downtown Chicago, which is probably why I usually think of it that way, but I certainly understand that such a big place with so many different cultural backgrounds MUST have a little bit of everything.

I was also confused by the running of the bulls in reverse haha. I was impressed with those girls, though. It was a rough event for kids!

I like the tighter crop too. I think I will use a similar crop when I print it.

Thank you all for your input!
