F2.8 @ 1/250, iso 100, roughly 80mm when converted to 35mm terms.
Some adjustments in photoshop, the usual highlight/shadow, curves, and healing brush.

Im considring desaturating the flowers in the background, mostly the yellow ones, they seem to grab a bit to much attention. I also wish I left a bit more room to the bottom/left but oh well.

    They look like flowering feathers. Nice subject. I think I agree with you on the background, maybe if you blurred the background a bit to make it a little more out of focus, IMO it would bring more focus to the flowers in front. Nice work.

    Very unusual flowers. Nice capture. I think you're right about the distracting background. I would also like to see a little more room at the bottom. Maybe you can vignet it.
