just a tiny nit.. with his arm being so straight and lining up with the window frame it almost looks like 2 pictures side by side, I'd clone out the bright window light over his right shoulder, maybe the other light at the top, maybe even the face behind the bartender's, to break up the straight lines. LOVE LOVE his expression.. priceless!!!

NIKON D700
on thing to be weary of though..I count like 6-7 distinct processing styles in this set. They alll look fine by per picture but I wonder if all the styles detract slightly from the strength as a set. Just a thought to keep in mind.

Qarik- *insert blushing smiley here* (ps dgrin, you need a blushing smiley) thank you sir! i've almost got my hubby convinced to let me purchase an additional body-i'm thinking the d700- and a better lens. I'm really hoping to venture on my own soon...
too many processing techniques--- noted. I always have a hard time narrowing it down to a style I like. They aren't sent out to the primary yet so there's still time to fix.
Yes, get the D700 and the 24-70 2.8.

Caroline...yes the combination was my thoughts exactly!
Kinkajou- I love lightroom for that reason...I seriously don't spend very much time in PP.
Amen for lightroom how ever did we do it before that software came into our lives and spead up our processing?
Nice set, I especially love your detail shots.
