*** SOLD ***

For sale is a Canon 580EX (v1). It's in excellent condition. Asking $299 with free UPS shipping in the Continental U.S. and PayPal fees included. Must have confirmed address with PayPal. No trade requests please.

Everything is included that came with it (manual, stand, box with UPC code, blank warranty card, etc.). It was bought brand new at B&H and has seen very light use.

Thanks. :)

I think the biggest difference (at least for me) is that with my 580EX, I need to buy a hot shoe from flashzebra that has a sync port in order to use it with radiopoppers. The 580EXII has the port built in. Correct me if I'm wrong, though.

THE real BIGGEST difference is that the MkI version has a toggle switch on the back to switch from standard use, to master, or slave. This is a menu item on the MkII and takes much longer to switch.

The shoe lock is different......the MkII is better sealed for moisture, and the cord connection as mentioned above.

The battery door has been massively upgraded on the MKII.
On the original, it feels like you are going to break the door off every time you have to change the batteries.
It's a lot smoother on the MKII.
Also, the refresh rate on the MKII is a lot faster.

Also, the MkII also has more RF Noise and has more issues working with the Pocket Wizzard FlexTT5.

Ugh, still available. Most of the time it's not even people going somewhere else to buy it. Last person is still battling whether to go Canon or Nikon for example. I'm hoping to sell this ASAP so I have some money for the weekend. I can ship it out the same or next day (UPS Ground) and will immediately email the tracking # to you.

    Thanks. :)

Just as a FYI, I did end up returning the Canon 7D. Going with Nikon D300s instead. Good luck to you on the sale with this free bump. :D
