Photography Resume

Hello Everyone
I've been a photographer for 4 years Never been to school for it is a gift of god, for 4 years also been working with photoshop but i need to create a resume and because i've never been to school for it I don't know how to start a photography resume.

Please Help. I Need a Job.

What experience have you had as a photographer? Do you have any professional qualifications?

I'm in the same boat. Experience with event photography, specifically car/bike events and nightlife. No professional qualifications as far as degrees/certificates/etc.

I saw this post a little while ago and am late to respond. My take on this is simple: your work is your resume.

Photography is a visual thing. While a good formal education in photography can be a fantastic asset it isn't the first thing clients generally look at.

If you are seeking a position in a large corporation as a photographer, I would definitely say some form of formal training would be needed.

But if you are marketing yourself as an event photographer, or say a fine art photographer the only think that's going to count is your images.

When you have purchased art for yourself did you care or even ask if the artist was formally trained?

Great feedback! I have a printed portfolio of some of my best work. Now, how do you market that? I know my target markets, but what are some of the the angles that work to get their attention?
