Took a close up of the glacier behind station the other day. Should be no problem fitting the theme, but with the amount of ice I've been looking at lately any other opinion would be nice.

wow, it's certainly fits the them.
I might do a little more processing to make it pop but it's fine as is to.
Maybe try some curves or levels to bring out some depth.

    Peace, gail

+1 - needs more oomph, but a really cool shot.

How is this too much, or just enough?

    Looking good!

My sister had a friend who spent a whole year in Antarctica. I think you should be getting plenty of daylight by now.

Cool shot. I am envious... the Antarctic Peninsula is so spectacular. You are so lucky to land a spot at Palmer. Looking forward to all those shots of ice formations and the Adelie and Gentoo penguins as they start coming in to nest in the months to come.

I wish I was staying. In fact I'll be boarding the boat north tomorrow.
I'd like to get out and explore a little more before I leave, but after seven months here I will be happy to see some trees again.
