On a whim I submitted a few photos to a local show coming up at a community fine art center. Today I got an email notifying that two of them were picked to be displayed. yay!.. But now I actually have to get them printed and am at a complete loss. The only guidance provided was that: "selected work must be ready to hang or exhibit". I have no idea of what the standards are for this type of thing. Looking through the bayphoto catalog I was thinking the mounting on gator foam would be acceptable. However, I would like to add a little more punch and try out the metal prints. They have the competition metal offering now which looks like they mount the metal print on gator foam, would this be acceptable? Or can I just stick to the regular metal print with the float mount blocks?..or possibly something completely different?
ugh, so many unknowns, hopefully some dgrin masters can shed some light on such things!

    There should be a committee or an exhibition administrator that can answer all your questions......I know when I was involved with the Photographic Society of America Juried Int'l Salons and exhibitions here, we got tons of letters asking for mounting, framing and such instructions ....... which had to answer each one by mail and that was such a pain....wish we had the internet then. :-}}
